By accessing or using Sports Loop, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're using Sports Loop on behalf of an organisation, you're agreeing to these Terms for that organisation.

2. Description of Service

Sports Loop provides a platform for sports enthusiasts to:

• Connect with sports communities
• Organise and participate in sporting events
• Track sports activities and progress
• Share knowledge through articles and content
• Vote for man of the match after games
• Receive notifications about events, communities, and account activity

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sports Loop, consistent with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 Account Information

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Share inappropriate or offensive content
• Spam or engage in commercial solicitation
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
• Interfere with the platform's operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Use automated systems without permission

5. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of content you post but grant Sports Loop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform.

5.2 Content Standards

All content must:

• Respect others' rights and privacy
• Be appropriate for all ages
• Not infringe on intellectual property rights
• Comply with our Community Guidelines

6. Community Guidelines

Sports Loop communities should be:

• Inclusive: Welcome all skill levels and backgrounds
• Respectful: Treat others with courtesy and sportsmanship
• Safe: Prioritise physical and emotional safety
• Fair: Promote fair play and honest competition
• Supportive: Encourage and help fellow users

7. Events and Activities

7.1 Event Organisation

Event organisers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate event information
• Ensuring venue availability and permissions
• Managing registrations fairly
• Communicating changes promptly
• Following local laws and regulations

7.2 Participation

Participants agree to:

• Attend events they register for
• Follow event rules and guidelines
• Respect organisers and other participants
• Participate at their own risk

7.3 Costs and Payments

Some events may have an associated cost (for example, venue or equipment fees) set by the event organiser. Sports Loop does not process payments and is not a party to any financial arrangement between members. Any costs are settled directly between participants and organisers, who are solely responsible for collecting, refunding, and resolving disputes about them. Sports Loop is not liable for any payment or refund relating to events.

8. Man of the Match Voting

When voting for man of the match after an event:

• Be honest and fair
• Base your vote on the match you played
• Focus on sportsmanship and performance
• Avoid personal attacks or discrimination

9. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Our Intellectual Property

Sports Loop and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Sports Loop and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10.2 Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on Sports Loop infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please send a written notice to legal@sports-loop.com that includes:

• Your name, address, and contact details;
• A description of the work or right you believe has been infringed;
• Where the allegedly infringing content appears in the app (for example, the community, event, article, or username), with enough detail for us to locate it;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on their behalf.

We review valid notices promptly and will remove or disable access to infringing content where appropriate. We may also remove content at our discretion, notify the user who posted it, and act against accounts that repeatedly infringe, up to and including suspension or termination. If your content has been removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may contact us at the same address to request a review.

You can also report content that is unlawful, infringing, or otherwise in breach of these Terms or our Community Guidelines directly within the app (Settings > Help & Support, or the report option on the relevant content) or via our Report Issue page.

11. Third-Party Services

Sports Loop may contain links to third-party services. We're not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.

12. Disclaimers

12.1 Service Availability

We strive to keep Sports Loop available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features without notice.

12.2 Physical Activity

Participation in sports activities carries inherent risks. Always consult healthcare providers before starting new physical activities. Sports Loop is not responsible for injuries or health issues.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sports Loop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sports Loop harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or use of the service.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with UK Arbitration Act, except where prohibited by law.
